Nils-Robert Persson, Executive Chairman of Cinnober Financial Technology, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Swedish business magazine Nya Affärer (Veckans Affärer). This annual award is given to a person who has built a company in an innovative way with a business idea that is demonstrably producing results.

“I’m taking the liberty to not consider this a personal award but something Cinnober as a company has received,” said Nils-Robert Persson. “With our passionately engaged teams and our highly competitive products we are ready to continue our international expansion and to continuously innovate for an ever-changing market.” 

The business magazine’s event helps promote innovation and entrepreneurship in Sweden and creates a meeting point for entrepreneurs. A well-attended conference and award ceremony was held at Berns Salonger in central Stockholm earlier this week.
